One Or More Devices Not Powering On (but not all)
DisplayNet devices typically have lights on their front panel indicating the status of the device. If there are no lights on the front panel of a device, it may not be receiving power. If a DisplayNet device does not appear to have power, ensure that power cable is securely plugged into the affected DisplayNet device.
Verify all other equipment used in the installation has power as well.
All Devices Not Powering On
This indicates a power issue with the entire system. Ensure that the external AC power adapter is plugged into a working AC power outlet. Ensure each of the devices is plugged into the power adapter and that the power adapter is securely connected to the device. If the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is being used to provide power to the devices, ensure the power switch on the rear panel of the PDU is switched ON.
Rebooting DisplayNet Devices
It may become necessary to reboot DisplayNet devices to resolve issues or for troubleshooting purposes. If the devices appear in DisplayNet Manager, the devices can be rebooted using the Device Settings rollup. The software reboot function resets the internal microprocessor without removing power from the device. To perform a hard reboot, disconnect power from the device for 3-5 seconds and then reconnect power.
