Power supply limitations

The USB 2.0 ports to supply power of 500 mA at 5V. If more power is needed, it is recommended to use a powered USB hub.

USB MSA Mode (Mass Storage Accelleration Mode) with Virtual Hub

When using The USB 2.0 Virtual Hub Mode (Also known as Multi-User Mode), USB MSA Mode must be turned off to ensure stability. Failure to configure correctly may result in unstable USB device connectivity and performance. To turn MSA mode off, navigate to the USB 2.0 tab in the device settings. This can only be toggled on the DN-300 series devices.

Clear pairings while troubleshooting

When diagnosing USB connection issues, it may be necessary to manually clear the USB pairings. To do so navigate to the USB 2.0 Tab in the Device Settings for each affected Device. Under "Linked Devices" click "Remove All Pairings" if available.
